Important Park Information

This beach is not as well known as other beaches but it has a dedicated following that can easily fill up the parking lot on a hot summer day.  The waves at this beach are usually small except during strong north to northeast winds.  Even on those days, however, calm seas prevail on the beach immediately adjacent to the drawbridge. This beach is a popular place to view sunsets and the ever-busy Vineyard Haven Harbor.

This beach is a popular site for kite boarders and fishermen. Kite boarders like the steady winds, and relatively calm seas. Fishermen frequent all parts of the beach, and fish from the large jetty on the southwest corner of the property. Because of the calm seas, Eastville Point Beach is a good spot for light tackle and fly rods.  Contact the tackle shops for more specific information on the fish at this location over the seasons.

The beach is located in the Towns of Tisbury and Oak Bluffs and is owned and managed by Dukes County.
