Welcome to the website for Tisbury MA Parks and Recreation. Here you’ll find all you need to know about our Town’s parks and recreational activities, and a few ideas for future plans. Tisbury is the only island town with two common names - Tisbury and Vineyard Haven. Tisbury is the official town name, and is used here when referencing the Town or Town committees. Vineyard Haven is most commonly used - even the post office and library use Vineyard Haven.

Click on “Parks/Beaches” and you’ll be able to search for activities and facilities. You can also select one of our major parks and view a location map as well as scroll through some beautiful photos for each park.

If you’re in the mood for a hike or a long walk, select “Trails/Hiking.” There you’ll find StoryMaps for guided walks within town and links to the numerous conservation areas in Vineyard Haven with plenty of hiking trails and some great views.

For those who’d like to explore some ideas and future plans for Vineyard Haven’s parks, select “Planning”. Many of these are just waiting for your thoughts and suggestions. Feel free to use the “Contact Us” feature here to share your comments.
